Back
To ALL The Folks at Techlusion,
Here I am back at home after a wonderful ride on my VTX 1800.
I just installed your Fuel Injection Control Box and I am so impressed
with the VXT and how it responds to this mod.
In just over one hour the VTX went from a popping jerky very nasty in
town
ride to a velvet smooth sound and wonderful throttle response. Out on
the
highway the VTX makes the most pleasant sound on deceleration through
the Vance & Hines, Gone is the popping and snapping and is now replaced
with the voice of a true BIG TWIN.
Thanks for providing a product that does what is advertised and more!

Gil, just to let you know, I am still so VERY
happy with your dyno job and product on my Nomad and VTX that I am telling
everyone I can in the Vegas Vulcan Riders, The VTX Owner's posting room,
the new Las Vegas VTX owner's club and the Delphi posting room how great
it is. I also talked it up at the recent Las Vegas VTX owners rally here
in Vegas. About a hundred VTX owners attended and they were selling
the hell out of Dynojets. They gave away free dynos and about 50 riders
got there bikes dynoed.
They all wondered why my VTX with the Cobra slash cuts did
not have any decibel popping. I told them.....get a Cobra
FI 2000.
My 2000 Nomad FI has 30K on it now and is still running
really SWEET!!!

| Dear Sirs:
I feel I must send you this note to express my amazement with performance
of your Fuel Nanny. I am a police motorcycle officer in the great state
of Texas. I ride a 2001harley flhtpi on duty and a 2000 Honda. cbr 929
off duty. I saw an ad for the fuel nanny and ordered one for my 929.
It received it within three days. I installed it and "dialed"
it in per your instructions. The difference was immediately noticeable.
The bike was smoother off the line and I could no longer discern any
flat spots or hitches. I can ride the
929 around town now without the herky jerky action that it used to have.
I also noticed that my top speed went up 6mph, but don't tell anyone
I told you that, as I would never exceed the posted speed limit. Your
product worked so well on my sportbike that I ordered another one for
my Harley. I could nofbelieve the difference. Your product worked as
advertised on my sportbike, but it has made my Harley come alive. It's
like a different bike! I am amazed at how much the performance has improved.
There are no more dead spots in the mid and upper rpms. The bike pulls
hard all the way to the rev limiter. In fact, I can hit the limiter
in fifth (top) gear. I could never come close before. Top speed has
gained 12mph, once again you didn't hear that from me. Your product
has also made the bike have more torque. I actually lifted the front
wheel on a 900lb motorcycle, and I only weigh a scant 265. The bike
also runs smoother, if one can say that about a Harley. The other motor
officers who rode the bike were very impressed as well. You will be
receiving several more orders from Texas. I can honestly predict that
all of our motors will be buying a Fuel Nanny.
Thank you very much for your terrific product. It was the best $150.00
upgrade I've ever installed.

Hi,
I had Vance and Hines in Whitter Ca. put the techlusion on my 2002 Honda
RC51. I love it. I had posted a question about your product on the website
www.RC51.com under the subject Techlusion. In a nutshell someone named
LordDuckHunter replied that your product is shit compared to the Power
commander. I thought maybe you would like to know and also I would like
to know what the diff. is. I do not race.
I have the dyno chart of my bike if you need to see it first. Thank you
and I would think you would like to know about negative information being
said about your product. |
Gil,
Thanks for working my bike. It feels stronger than ever and Zero popping
on decel or hair throttle, nothing but smooth running.

| OK So I guess this just has to
turn into a pissing match huh? Here's my 2 cents.
If they run rich, why did mine (and Speed Landers) test out dead on
(for most of the range) while adding fuel? the only place I was rich
was from 3500-4500 at WOT. And why wouldn't you then create a product
for leaning out the bike instead of richening it up? Well I have an
answer.
It's because you don't ride on a Dyno. The dyno does not accurately
take into account real world conditions such as wind, load etc. You're
spinning a wheel, not riding the bike. The PC is made by DynoJet which
manufacturers ... Dyno's! So they tune and build their maps on the Dyno.
Ma Kawi, invests a ton to build real world maps, maps that match the
way we ride in the real world with Stock parts. Because the Dyno is
'easier' on the bike it has a tendancy to actually mislead the measurements
as it relates to real world riding.
For instance, My second run (richer and utilizing the red pod as well)
sounded a ton better than the first but the HP went down, in the real
world it probably would have been produced more power or run better.
Now is this all my brainchild? No this is from the folks at Techlusion
who invented in the PC as well. I'm not doing the explanation justice
so I have cc:'d Mike, Gil and rick, the boys at Techlusion to respond
in their own stead. This explanation makes perfect sense to me though.
It also explains why the second run sounded so much better (right buttercup?)
but yeilded less 'HP' on the dyno. Gil the TFi guy told me right away
to richen it up a bit if it looks dead on while it's on the dyno cuz
I will notice the difference on the street.
So Gil, Mike? What do you have to add to clarify my attempt at recountign
your words?
End of the day either one still works, but one makes more sense for
real world for less money while the other is much better for bench racing.
And not sure about the PC guys but Techlusion has given me GREAT service
and support.

Boy... that seems odd. When I switched plugs
last spring, my tips were a whitish tan; which my interpretation is a
condition on the lean side. And that was stock with the Baggers. AJ recently
reported that with stock air and Baggers he was seeing a severe lean condition
using the UNI filter and sent out notice not to use the UNI without a
fuel delivery modifier. When Sherms first began testing the Drifter FI's
a year ago, they found that
adding an Airbox and pipes made the bike so lean you would burn pistons
or valves.
Even on the 800's the worry was finding a way to boost fuel because
of a natural lean condition.
Your table confirms that you are now running leaner than stock, so
I guess I'm now as confused as ever.
I wish John was still over at Anoka Ramsey. one past for validation.
He'd be a good one to run this

Just installed the Fuel Nanny on my Honda
VTX 1800C and man what a difference it made!
This bike finally runs right! I had an annoying surge problem that I just
could' nt compensate for during riding. This morning I installed the Fuel
Nanny and after a few minor adjustments the engine smoothed out and ran
a million percent better! This is how the bike should have come from the
factory. I consider this to be the most important improvement to my bike
so far.
Thanks so much for making my bike run as good as it looks!
